Research

Our research focus on the development and application of Machine Learning methods to relevant Computational Biology problems, ranging from the automated functional annotation of proteins, to Systems Biology, Network and Precision Medicine, and to the diagnosis, prognosis and biomarker discovery of human diseases, using integration techniques to combine different types of clinical and omics data. Schematically, our main research areas are the following:
